Title: "With shops and sailors she felt herself at home:" How Jane Austen's siblings - Francis, Charles, Henry and Fanny - stoked her naval knowledge and fired her creative imagination. Co-authored and co-presented with Hugh Kindred, Cleveland, Ohio.

For this conference Sheila and Sarah Emsley created “In the Footsteps of the Austens: A Walking Tour of Halifax, Nova Scotia.”
